Thank you again for being willing to serve as the Faculty-in-Residence for the summer term! For the students that study abroad, they list the FiR as one of the key components that make their experience. While ACU promotes faculty-student engagement that surpasses many other universities, the Study Abroad experience creates an even more vibrant living-learning community. In this space, students gain more than academic learning from faculty - they receive rich life insights, vocational discernment, and mentoring. Although the summer terms are far shorter, the student community still grows quite close. With the attention, guidance, and care of the FiR, the potential for growth and transformation is immense.
