Unfortunately, all study abroad programs will ultimately face issues with student discipline. All Faculty-in-Residence (FiR) are expected to play a role in enforcing ACU community standards and supporting local staff. However, faculty are not disciplinary officers. FiR should instead play an important role as reporters who use incident reports to direct disciplinary matters to program directors.
